Day 01 :
Arrival in Arusha / Moshi

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where our AML team will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your lodge in Arusha or Moshi. Your mountain guide will conduct a thorough briefing and equipment check in preparation for the climb.Accommodation: Hotel in Arusha / MoshiMeal Plan: Bed & Breakfast

Day 02 :
Arusha – Londorossi Gate – Mti Mkubwa Camp

Depart after breakfast for Londorossi Gate for registration and a briefing from the rangers. Begin your trek through dense rainforest filled with wildlife and unique flora until you reach Mti Mkubwa Camp (Big Tree Camp) for your first night on the mountain.Drive: 3–4 hoursHike: 3–4 hours | Distance: 6 km | Elevation: 2,100m to 2,785mAccommodation: Mti Mkubwa CampMeal Plan: Full Board

Day 03 :
Mti Mkubwa Camp – Shira 1 Camp

Leave the forest behind and enter the moorland zone, crossing streams and open landscapes with views of the Shira Plateau. Arrive at Shira 1 Camp, where you’ll start feeling the altitude and enjoy incredible mountain vistas.Hike: 5–6 hours | Distance: 8 km | Elevation: 2,785m to 3,500mAccommodation: Shira 1 CampMeal Plan: Full Board

Day 04 :
Shira 1 Camp – Shira 2 Camp

A gentle walk across the plateau brings you to Shira 2 Camp, offering panoramic views of Kibo Peak. This day helps with acclimatization and allows time to explore the Shira Plateau — one of the most scenic areas on Kilimanjaro.Hike: 4–5 hours | Distance: 7 km | Elevation: 3,500m to 3,840mAccommodation: Shira 2 CampMeal Plan: Full Board

Day 05 :
Shira 2 Camp – Lava Tower – Barranco Camp

Trek toward the Lava Tower (4,630m), a key acclimatization point where you’ll rest for lunch before descending to Barranco Camp. The day follows the “walk high, sleep low” principle, crucial for adapting to higher altitudes.Hike: 6–7 hours | Distance: 10 km | Elevation: 3,840m to 4,630m (Lava Tower), then down to 3,950mAccommodation: Barranco CampMeal Plan: Full Board

Day 06 :
Barranco Camp – Karanga Camp

Start the day by conquering the famous Barranco Wall — a thrilling yet safe scramble that rewards you with stunning views of the southern glaciers. Continue through alpine terrain to reach Karanga Camp, where you’ll rest before the summit push.Hike: 4–5 hours | Distance: 6 km | Elevation: 3,950m to 4,200mAccommodation: Karanga CampMeal Plan: Full Board

Day 07 :
Karanga Camp – Barafu Camp

A short but steep climb brings you to Barafu Camp, your final stop before the summit. Prepare your gear, have an early dinner, and rest before your midnight summit attempt.Hike: 3–4 hours | Distance: 4 km | Elevation: 4,200m to 4,680mAccommodation: Barafu CampMeal Plan: Full Board

Day 08 :
Barafu Camp – Uhuru Peak – Mweka Camp

Begin your ascent around midnight, trekking under starlight toward Stella Point (5,756m) and continuing to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) — the Roof of Africa! Celebrate your success with breathtaking sunrise views before descending to Mweka Camp for overnight rest.Hike: 10–14 hours | Distance: 17 km | Elevation: 4,680m to 5,895m (Uhuru Peak), then down to 3,100mAccommodation: Mweka CampMeal Plan: Full Board

Day 09 :
Mweka Camp – Mweka Gate – Arusha / Moshi

A steady descent through the lush rainforest brings you to Mweka Gate, where you’ll receive your summit certificate. Transfer back to Arusha or Moshi for a hot shower, relaxation, and celebration dinner.Hike: 3–4 hours | Distance: 10 km | Elevation: 3,100m to 1,640mAccommodation: Hotel in Arusha / MoshiMeal Plan: Breakfast & Lunch
