Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge is perched on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the 'Cradle of Humankind'. Deep within the Crater's immense walls lies a breathtaking blue-green ecosystem of plains, lakes and forests, home to massive bull elephants, rhinos, wildebeest and Africa's highest concentration of lions.
Cloaked in river stone and indigenous vines, the lodge is framed by arched stone passages and timbered decks with torch-lit walls adorned with stylized cave paintings. The 74 guest rooms and suite are arranged around the Crater rim, each with a rock-enclosed private stone balcony and uninterrupted views of the volcanic amphitheater below.
