Marera Valley Lodge

Marera Valley Lodge is a charming lodge set in a valley on the outskirts of Karatu town, roughly midway between Lake Manyara National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The lodge's 28 spacious cottages sit in lushly landscaped, organic gardens, with a large swimming pool set into the hilly landscape offering panoramic valley views throughout the property.

The lodge's kitchen is led by the owner himself, a trained chef, serving dishes made from produce grown in the lodge's own garden alongside local farms. Guests can also unwind at the on-site Rosemary Spa, tucked into a quiet corner of the grounds.
