Octagon Lodge

Octagon Lodge is a small, family-owned and private lodge located twenty minutes from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Gate in Karatu, Tanzania. Set amidst colourful, exotic gardens on six acres of land teeming with plant and bird life, the lodge is a perfect base for visiting the Northern Parks of Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti.

Traditionally designed en-suite chalets, rooms, family rooms and a two-bedroom cottage offer comfort for every type of traveller, with facilities available for disabled guests. The lodge offers exceptional dining with a charming atmosphere, using organically grown fresh farm produce, plus the Irish Bar u2014 a distinctive touch created by the lodge's founders, one of the only Irish bars in Africa.
