Overview
On this day, you will arrive at Zanzibar International Airport. Upon landing, you will meet our driver just outside the arrivals area, where they will be holding a signboard with your name for easy recognition. Your pickup will be arranged according to your flight details and arrival time. Once you confirm your package, you will be required to share your flight information so we can organize the transfer accordingly. The transfer from the airport to your hotel is fully included in the package, and there are no additional charges for this service.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Hotel
On this day, you will arrive at Zanzibar International Airport. Upon arrival, you will meet our driver outside the airport’s arrival area. The driver will be holding a signboard with your name to help you easily identify them. Your pickup time will be arranged based on your flight schedule. Once you confirm the package, you will share your flight details so we can organize the transfer accordingly. The transfer from the airport to your hotel is included in the package, with no additional cost. After arriving at the hotel and checking in, you will have time to relax and rest during the afternoon after your journey. In the evening, you can enjoy the beautiful sunset and the stunning views of the Indian Ocean. You may also take part in relaxing activities such as swimming or spending time by the beach while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.
Day 2: Safari Blue Full-Day
This will be a full-day sailing experience as you explore the beautiful mangroves and go snorkelling around Menai Bay, one of the most spectacular coral reef areas in Zanzibar. You will sail towards Kwale Island, where you can relax on a stunning sandbank, enjoy swimming in the clear waters, and take part in snorkelling activities while discovering the rich marine life. During the trip, you will enjoy a delicious fresh seafood barbecue, featuring a variety of dishes such as octopus, lobster, squid, calamari, and fish. You will also get to taste a selection of fresh tropical fruits, including bananas, watermelon, pineapple, and mangoes, making the experience even more refreshing and enjoyable.
Day 3: Prison Island & Stone Town Half-Day
On this day, you will explore the rich history and culture of the local people with a professional tour guide while walking through Stone Town, visiting some of its most famous and historic landmarks. Later, you will head to Prison Island, where you can see and take photos of the impressive Aldabra giant tortoise, while also learning about the island’s brief history.
Day 4: Mnemba Snorkelling, Nungwi Aquarium Turtles & Sunset Full-Day
Enjoy swimming with dolphins and capturing stunning photos. Go snorkelling and observe a variety of colourful tropical fish, corals, and other marine life. Explore the vibrant coral reefs and rich marine ecosystem surrounding Mnemba Island. This half-day experience will also introduce you to the other side of Zanzibar’s north coast. Nungwi Natural Aquarium on Zanzibar is best appreciated when embarking on a guided tour! You will fall in love with dynamic coral, notice sea turtles in the natural flowing Aquarium, and have the opportunity to discover over 500 species from all around the Indian Ocean. Nungwi, located on the northern tip of Zanzibar, is renowned as one of the island’s premier locations for viewing spectacular sunsets. Because of its location, it avoids the drastic low tides that affect the east coast, ensuring stunning water views during the evening golden hour. The wide sandy beaches are perfect for a late afternoon walk, offering unobstructed views of the sun sinking into the ocean.
Day 6: Transfer to Airport for Departure
After your 6-day Zanzibar vacation, this day marks your departure as you travel back home. Our driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Zanzibar International Airport, according to your flight schedule to ensure a smooth and timely journey.
