Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing AML Travel and Tours. These terms and conditions explain the agreement between you (the client) and (AML Travel and Tours) when booking any of our travel services including safaris, flight bookings, hotel stays, and ground transport within Tanzania. By confirming a booking with us, you accept these terms and agree to follow them throughout your trip.

Bookings

You can book directly through our office, website or by email. Your booking becomes confirmed when we send written confirmation and you pay a deposit. The person making the booking accepts responsibility for everyone listed on the booking form.

Payments and deposits

A 30% is required to secure your reservation. The balance must be paid at least 45 days before your travel date. Payments can be made via bank transfer or mobile payments in USD, British Pounds or Tanzanian Shillings (TZS). Late payments may lead to cancellation.

Prices and changes

Our prices are based on current costs, exchange rates, and supplier tariffs. While we do our best to maintain published prices, changes in taxes, fuel costs, or exchange rates may cause slight adjustments. We will always inform you before applying any change.

Customer Cancellations

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel, please notify us in writing. Refunds depends on when you cancel;

➢ 60+ days before departure: deposit forfeited
➢ 45-60 days: 50% refund
➢ 30-44 days: 25% refund
➢ Less than 30 days: no refund
Refunds are processed within 30 working days

Company Cancellations

Sometimes we may have to adjust an itinerary or, rarely, cancel a trip due to safety or logistical reasons. If that happens, we will offer you an alternative of equal value or a full refund. We will not cover costs for things we cannot control, like flight delays or weather issues.

Unforeseen Circumstances

Events like extreme weather, political unrest, pandemics, or natural disasters are beyond our control. If such events occur, we’ll do everything possible to rearrange your travel plans, but refunds may not always be possible.

Responsibilities of a customer

Please make sure you have a valid passport, necessary health documents, and follow local laws and customs. Respect wildlife, guides, and fellow travelers. We may ask a traveler to leave a tour if their behavior threatens the safety or enjoyment of others.

Travel insurance

We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance that covers health, cancellations, and emergency evacuation. This ensures peace of mind during your journey.

Liability

We work with trusted hotels, airlines, and transport providers but cannot control their operations. We act as an agent for these third parties. AML Travel & Tours is not liable for injury, loss, or damage resulting from acts beyond our control. Safari travel involves certain risks—by booking, you acknowledge and accept them.

Health and Safety

We prioritize your safety. Always follow the instructions of your guide and respect wildlife rules. If you have health conditions, let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Problems and complaints

If you encounter any issue, please report it immediately to your guide or our local representative so we can resolve it quickly. If the matter remains unresolved, please write to us within 14 days of your return, and we’ll address it promptly.

Privacy and data use

We value your privacy. Any personal information you provide is used only for booking and communication purposes. We will never share your details with anyone unrelated to your travel arrangements.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Tanzanian law, and any disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of Tanzanian courts.
